BAKED MAC AND CHEESE

Baked mac and cheese is a staple for all cheese lovers. It's gooey core and crisp textures leaves you wanting more.


INGREDIENTS 

- Macaroni ( 1 cup )

- Cheddar ( 2 cups )

- Parmesan cheese ( 1/2 cup )

- Milk ( 3 cups )

- Butter ( 4 tbs )

- Flour ( 2 1/2 tbs )

- Bread crumbs ( 1/2 cup )

- Oregano and Chile flakes

- Salt




STEPS 

1) Cook macaroni according to the package directions. Drain.


2) In a saucepan, melt butter or margarine over medium heat. Stir in the flour to make a roux. Add milk to roux slowly, stirring constantly. Stir in cheeses and a pinch of salt and cook over low heat until cheese is melted and the sauce is a little thick. Put macaroni in large casserole dish, and pour sauce over macaroni. Stir well. ( At this point you can add pre-cooked meat and stir it in )


3) Sprinkle the bread crumbs and bake at 180 degrees C for 30 mins. Garnish with Oregano and flakes.


There you go~ cheesy yet sturdy baked mac and cheese ready in minutes.

absolutely loved this, added a more cheese in the recipe cause it was less for me... but other than that, loved it
